Emergency Retinal Detachment surgery recovery

Hello my name is Megan. I am embarrassed to even make this as I hate to even ask for help, but unfortunately I have had a partial retinal detachment which turned quickly into a full detachment as of yesterday (2/2/24) I have now loss all my vision in my left eye. I have surgery (2/9/24) the earliest they are available to do so. I have 2 small children. My daughter is 4 years old and my son is only 8 months old. As this is completely unexpected I’m reaching out In hopes of help since I’m unable to work during this time and will have to recover for at least 4 weeks. Part of my recovery I’ll be unable to care for my children as my fiancé and family will as they can. My fiancé is the only income we have and it’s hard very hard to ask for anything right now. The funds will go towards insuring my children have what they need along with other expenses that come with traveling for surgery, doctor appointments, bills, etc. If you’re unable to donate it’s ok we could use some positive vibes and prayers as we navigate through this difficult time.
