Bring Ruby Home

A few years back we heard a pastor say, "When you feel something, do something." That line stuck with us, and it has been so helpful as we have considered the impact we want to have on this world. Without a doubt, the number one issue in the world that breaks our hearts is that of Fatherlessness. For many, many years we have "felt something" on this issue, and we are excited to announce that we have officially begun the process to "do something."

In November 2018, we initiated the process to adopt a little girl from China. We cannot wait to bring Ruby Mae to her forever home! We have so many people who love and support us, and we want to bring you all along on the journey, which we will do through our website www.preciousrubymae.squarespace.com.

This is a leap of faith for our family in so many ways, not the least, financially. Our adoption agency estimates that our adoption fees will total around $50,000. We're already cooking up some plans for fundraisers along the way to help us get closer to that number. In addition to the fundraisers, you can also give through this gofundme page.  So here's the deal...help us get Ruby Mae home, and we promise to shower her with so much love for the rest of her life, and we'll tell her about all the people that helped bring her home! 

When we all do something where we feel something, we can change the world. This is part of our attempt at that. Who knows, maybe our story will inspire someone to change the world in his/her own, unique way.
