Help The Keir Family
The Keir family is experiencing tragedy in a rather unique way. Deanna and Steve went to China to adopt their two newest children - one of whom is aging out of the system next week, and the other of whom is 4 years old and has Down syndrome- when her eldest son, Kobie, who is 15, was hit by a car. I am currently unaware of the extent of his injuries, but I do know that they are extensive and he will have many surgeries. She is flying back urgently to care for her son, while her husband is staying in China to complete the adoption of their 2 new children - if they leave, the older son will age out of the system and be ineligible for adoption.
Adoption is expensive. They weren't fully funded for their adoption, but knew that these children were worth going into debt for - and now, they are facing even more financial need as Deanna flies back urgently to care for their son in the USA and faces on going, long term hospitalization.
Please. If you have anything you can donate to help them out during this crisis time, please do. $1, $5, $10, $100. It all adds up.
Thank you!
