I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my cousin's family, who have faced unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. My uncle Faried, his wife Nidal, and their five children Ahmad, Mahmoud, Jana, Nour, and Mohamed have endured the horrors of war, losing not only their home but also their dreams and sense of security.

Ahmad, a dedicated second-year information technology student at Islamic University, saw his aspirations shattered when the university became a casualty of bombings. His hopes for a better future for his family were crushed along with the ruins of the educational institution he once attended.

Mahmoud, Jana, Nour, and Mohamed have been robbed of their innocence, forced to witness the destruction and violence that surround them. Jana, just 10 years old, sleeps with her hands covering her ears, terrified of the sounds of bombings that haunt her dreams.

Their family business, built with sweat and determination, was lost in the chaos, leaving them with nothing but memories. Even their newly built apartment, a symbol of their hard-earned progress, was reduced to rubble.

Forced to flee multiple times in search of safety, they now find themselves cramped in a small tent in Rafah, struggling to survive without access to clean water, food, or medicine. Their once vibrant family gatherings and laughter have been replaced by the harsh reality of displacement and despair.

After months of enduring unimaginable hardship, they are desperate for a way out. They are raising funds to evacuate safely from Gaza, seeking refuge from the violence that has torn their lives apart.

The cost of escape is steep – $5000 for adults and $3000 for children, in addition to expenses for renting a new apartment and purchasing basic necessities. These funds will also cover essential expenses in Gaza until they are able to evacuate.

Tragically, they recently lost their beloved grandmother in Jabalia refugee camp, a devastating blow that they cannot bear to face again.
