Fundraiser to Replace Stolen Equipment

Hey all!

For those who don't yet know me, my name is David OConnell, I'm a musician, producer, and audio engineer based in Los Angeles. About a month ago, nearly 5k worth of audio equipment was stolen from my vehicle parked in my garage. Some of the stolen items include 4 PA speakers, 1k of cabling, power conditioners, and a heavy-duty utility cart.

As a rule, I never EVER leave equipment in my vehicle. The evening of the theft, heavy rains made it impossible to unload at my secure studio space, forcing me to park in my garage. Despite tons of footage and photos of the suspect and vehicle, police have been unable to locate the stolen equipment or suspect. Additionally, due to technicalities of the circumstances, there is no clear path towards recouping the equipment through insurance at this time.

I am raising funds to buy replacement equipment necessary to do upcoming events and gigs (weddings, corporate events, and musical performances) this spring and summer. Specifically, I am seeking to purchase 2 used QSC K12.2 Loudspeakers, new cables, and a heavy duty utility cart. I am hoping to make these purchases before the end of March. This equipment is also critical for an event production company I am currently getting off of the ground centered around theatrical design and live music.
