Le Zebre sono una Famiglia.

Una grande Famiglia di rugby che vive di gioia e di sport.

Ma soprattutto una Famiglia che sa affrontare i momenti difficili nel modo giusto, nel modo migliore: stringendosi, avvicinandosi a chi è in difficoltà, unendo gli sforzi.

Il sogno di Leo era proprio questo, non una squadra ma una comunità di persone che condividono valori e portano fuori dal campo le grandi lezioni di questo sport.

La dignità, l'amicizia, la solidarietà.

Qualche mese fa un ragazzo ucraino è venuto a vedere una partita delle Zebre e ci ha raccontato della sua squadra, il RC Polytechnic Kyiv.

Era entusiasta di quello che avremmo potuto fare insieme, delle possibilità che tutte le squadre della Zebre Family avrebbero potuto dare ai giocatori.

Le cose sono cambiate nelle ultime settimane.

Un dramma spaventoso ha travolto tutti quei ragazzi e le loro famiglie, il mondo si è ribaltato e molti di loro in questo momento lottano per sopravvivere.

Quello che non è cambiato e non cambierà è la nostra Famiglia, che ora deve allargarsi e fare spazio.

Accogliere.

Donare.

Nei prossimi giorni un pullman partirà da Parma e aspetterà i familiari dei ragazzi, le loro mogli, i figli, le madri.

Non loro, purtroppo, perché resteranno in Ucraina a combattere, per scelta e per necessità.

Per raccogliere le vostre donazioni e farlo nel modo più trasparente abbiamo chiesto aiuto a Rugby In Ospedale, che ha messo a disposizione il suo Conto Corrente e la solita grandissima disponibilità.

Per ora vi chiediamo solo di donare e comunicarci in dm o alla mail: se avete la possibilità di ospitare alcuni di questi nuclei familiari (per ora abbiamo una lista di 30 nomi ma potrebbe crescere nelle prossime ore).

Vi informeremo su ogni passaggio e come ovvio e giusto documenteremo ogni spesa.

Per ora voglio solo ringraziarvi, lo faccio in anticipo perché in un anno ho capito bene chi siete, chi siamo e quanto è forte e generosa questa Famiglia.

Zebre are a Family.

But above all a Family that knows how to face difficult moments: standing our ground, getting closer to those in difficulty, joining efforts.

Leo's dream was just that, not a team but a community of people who share values ​​and take the great lessons of this sport off the field.

A few months ago a Ukrainian guy came to see a Zebre game and told us about his team, RC Polytechnic Kyiv.

He was excited about what we could do together, about the possibilities that all the teams in the Zebre Family could give the players.

Things have changed in the last few weeks.

A frightening drama has engulfed all those kids and their families, the world has turned upside down and many of them are struggling to survive right now.

What has not changed and will not change is our Family, which now has to expand and make room.

To donate.

We have made ourselves available to Andriy, Igor and other friends from Kiev to host their families as long as they are needed.

In the next few days a bus will depart from Parma and wait for the families of the boys, their wives, children, mothers.

Not them, unfortunately, because they will remain in Ukraine to fight, by choice and by necessity.

To collect your donations and do it in the most transparent way, we asked Rugby In Ospedale for help, which has made available its account and the usual great availability.

For now we only ask you to donate and communicate us (in dm or by e-mail) if you have the possibility to host some of these families (for now we have a list of 30 names but it could grow in the next few hours).

We will inform you about each step and as obvious and right we will document each expense.
