Zed's Fundraiser for Graduate Studies Abroad

Hello everyone,

I'm thrilled to share some exciting news: I've been accepted into the Master of Science in Games program at the IT University of Copenhagen! I'm reaching out to you all because I need some support to make this dream a reality. Specifically, I'm aiming to raise $5000 over the next two months to cover moving costs and some living expenses in Denmark.

The past year has been transformative. After a long break from school, I managed to complete my Bachelor's degree. I then invested countless hours into building a portfolio demonstrating my abilities in game design. All the hard work paid off when I received a full-ride scholarship to ITU Copenhagen, one of only 3 international students to receive this award. I'm profoundly grateful and eager to seize this opportunity, however, I still need to find funding to help me move to Denmark (in just two months!) and pay for some of my living expenses so I can focus on my studies.

The Games program at ITU is a challenging and inspiring environment teeming with creative minds. I'm looking forward to contributing my own innovative ideas to this mix, focusing on developing games that entertain, unite communities, and revolutionize learning processes.

As many of you know, I am the child of a Colombian immigrant and the first in my family to graduate college; I've faced my share of obstacles. Growing up, I never would have imagined that grad school would be an option for me. But these challenges only fueled my passion for games and the people who love them - a community that has always been a pillar of support for me. I have always wanted to work in this industry, but this dream would be impossible to achieve without relevant, formal education.

Any donation, no matter the size, will bring me closer to this dream. I am doing everything in my power to personally fund this educational endeavor, but I know I will need more help.
