Zeniah Stevens Latoude Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and loved ones:
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of Zeniah Stevens Latoude: the daughter of Charles and Carolyn Stevens, sister of Chaske and Ian, and most importantly the mother of Zoriah.
If you knew Zeniah, you were blessed to have someone so warm and caring in your presence. As the eldest of 3, Zeniah was a natural caregiver. This led her to a career in the education profession. She grew up traveling the world with her family through her father's military service. She was a graduate of Elon College. In 2006, she married her husband, Lamidi Latoude, who went on to glory in 2017.
Through many trials, Zeniah could mostly be seen with a beautiful bright smile on her face. She was always encouraging others to see the silver-lining through any dark situation. She was a gentle soul, though fiercely protective of her family and they brought her immense joy. She was a devout Christian and someone who had a true relationship with God. Mention God or Zoriah in her presence and her smile was sure to get a bit brighter.
On Monday, January 4, 2021, Zeniah Rachelle Stevens Latoude crossed from this mortal plane and into eternity. Though our hearts are hurting, we delight in knowing that she was a woman of faith and the seeds that she sowed in life will continue to bloom in the lives of many.
In light of Covid-19, the family is planning a small ceremony at their family church.
If you are able to donate to help the family with all the necessary arrangements for the funeral and with caring for Zoriah in the absence of her parents, your contribution would be greatly appreciated. After the expenses of the memorial, all additional funds will go into a trust for Zoriah's future education and care.
Thank you for all of your prayers and well-wishes during this time.
Sincerely,
The Stevens Family
