In loving memory of my incredible husband, Rogelio also known to many as Flip, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone he knew. He was not just a loving partner, but also an extraordinary father to our 3 children, son, brother, uncle and friend. His boundless love and unwavering support created a haven for our family, and his laughter and wisdom brightened the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. We will forever cherish the beautiful moments we shared, and his legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire us. He turned 35 years old this past February before God decided to take him from us.
On October 7, The victim Rogelio and his brother took their mom out who was visiting from New Mexico. They were celebrating Rogelio's new home in San Tan Valley, his new job, and just life in general. They decided to stop at Gym Bar & Grill for a quick drink after dinner, but felt unwelcome so tried leaving without even finishing their first drink. They were followed and harassed, and a fight broke out as they were trying to leave. Til this very second, the family is at lost trying to understand why this "Travis" guy shot Rogelio. He wasn't even part of the confrontation. He took it upon himself to shoot, leaving his Fiancée and 3 children behind.
Thank you for being a part of his remarkable journey and for honoring his memory with us.. Donations will be used for his children’s living expenses and whatever is needed for them during these difficult times. R.I.P Rogelio “Flip” Ochoa.
