Zeta Phi Believes in Racial Equality
Donation protected
The Zeta Phi chapter of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity values are friendship, knowledge, service, morality, and excellence. To call ourselves brothers, we are compelled, all of us to speak up during this time. We can not act as if Friendship guides us, if we act as if some people are lesser. Knowledge of the situation at hand showed us inaction would be tantamount to negative action. Service means that we are bound to act in support of our community. As a chapter, we can not be Moral if we do not take this time to act. And Excellence can not be had if we do not use our voice to support all people. The men of Zeta Phi are committed to these values, and so we have chosen to support the charities "We Love Lake Street" and "The Southern Poverty Law Center". We hope our commitment to these charities can help repair communities damaged by racial injustice, and help be a part of preventing future evils. We Love Lake Street will seek to rebuild communities on Lake Street by supporting small businesses, and helping them reopen. The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting racism by exposing extremist hate groups, education on tolerance, and helping support the fight for justice for those who have had it taken from them. Your donation goes 100% toward supporting these causes directly, and anything done helps to fight against systemic racism.
