The Michael V. DiMaggio Foundation’s main purpose is to help support disadvantage youths by offering to help shape the lives of many and to nurture the hopes and dreams of countless youths who have the love for baseball. The foundation focuses on initiatives aimed to create and improve children’s opportunity to experience the great game of baseball and its countless positive attributes. 501 (C) (3)
The MVD Foundation was started to honor the memory of Michael. During a school project Michael wrote; "If I was given a million dollars I would like to donate it to baseball charities which help underprivileged children that don't have the resources needed to aspire to their favorite sport which also happens to be mine. I think every kid deserves a chance to succeed at baseball it builds character for the future".
Your donations will help keep Michael's dream alive by helping youths throughout the Charlotte area focusing on their aspirations, dreams, and ability to experience youth sports.
I am so grateful and thankful I had 16 years with my Nephew. His dreams and inspirations have given me the strength to continue help build his charitable foundation.
