Ducks leg Surgery

Today , 8/24 is Ducks 1st birthday. He was attacked by another dog on 8/19 and it has resulted in a badly broken leg along with other injuries. He will need a plate to help heal both broken bones or they will have to amputate because he keeps getting infections. You see Duck is my sons best friend, they do EVERYTHING together. He loves to fish, hunt, watch his boy play, chase squirrels, and run beside his boys bike. I fear amputation will not only hinder his ability to live his best life but also keep him from doing what he loves most; following his boy around the country side and protecting him from danger. Sometimes that danger is just a butterfly but he keeps his boy safe regardless. I am asking for help for surgery , this dog is part of our family and we love him. The thought of him having to loose a limb is just heart wrenching to us all. Thank you and God Bless
