Fight for Riley! Custody attorney fees

Hi my name is Shatori, After receiving the heartbreaking news today 4/16/23 that I am unable to relocate with my daughter to Texas with the rest of our family. I had to decide to finally put my pride to the side because not only am I a fighting mother that needs help and support but I’m fighting for the rights of my child. After spending a year in a half in Burlington county Courts traveling back and forth from NJ to Texas every other week to fight for my oldest child in a nasty custody battle with my daughter’s father and his parents. Burlington County Courts decided to fail my family and denied my request to move and relocate with my daughter. As many of you know Riley who is now 7 is my oldest child and has always been in my custody since birth. I have been dealing with the court system and her fathers control since she has been 2 months old, more so because his parents can financially afford to constantly take my child and I through the courts corrupted ringer. I have spent thousands of dollars in legal attorney and court fees this last year until I could no longer afford an attorney. Which at that point I had to support and represent myself in court alone against my child’s attorney and his parents who take care of all of all his legal fees. The courts disappointedly over looked a permanent restraining order currently in place between him and I, current pending criminal charges for strangulation of a pregnant woman, domestic violence, aggravated assault and the fact my child has vocally said she did not want to live with her father and be separated from her siblings and I. Although I’ve voiced how fearful my child is and submitted actual evidence of a permanent restraining order I had to put on my child’s father the courts still overlooked evidence because I was not legally represented. The voice of my child has been unheard because she is only 7, but as her mother and her voice we were failed horribly today! I am currently mothering my children from two states. One child who has medical problems and needs my attention but because my child and I are under the hold of NJ I am unable to physically there for his medical attention. At this time I have to appeal and reopen my case with another attorney because I am unable to continuously mother my 3 children in two states. So I am looking for support and help to afford and retain a family attorney and reopen my case so my child and I can relocate and be reunited with our family. Anything helps, and will go to towards attorney fees.
