Stabilize My Family

Donation protected
I am a mother who will leave no rock unturned for my children. I strive to be the best mother I can be no matter what the world throws at me. I try to get the lesson when In the valley’s of life and this one is no different. This past two years have been ruff…..No they have been horrible but I am still fighting. In the past I have have overcome a horrific marriage, sexual assault, homelessness and other family trauma. I fought HARD and was able to repair my credit, buy my kids a home and put them in private school so they would be better equip to deal with this world. I worked 6 days a week and rarely had a day off but I believed in God and knew he would direct my path if I kept my children first in everything I did. I did those things by working hard and trusting God. Answering Gods calling I decided to return to school a and obtain my Doctoral degree in Social Work to further show my kids what trusting God and working hard could do for them in life. Unfortunately life took a drastic turn a few years ago when I was faced racial discrimination in the workplace. The organization’s response was to retaliate against me and destroy my financial security. That termination also led to the end of my tuition assistance. I am a semester away from completing my degree but it has all been jeopardized by my financial condition. In the last week I have been told I will not be allowed to register for my final semester unless I pay the bill that losing my tuition reimbursement created. I am also struggling to provide my Children with Christmas this year. The abrupt termination also caused me to fall behind on bills. My heart is heavy but as my pastor has said”Don’t back away from what God has told you to do.” What God told me to do is to be a good mother and help people. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing….I’ve done Gods work in jails, prisons, courtrooms, nursing homes and drug rehab centers. I tell my clients to keep fighting and that is exactly what I am doing! I’m fighting for my family and I’m fighting to continue to be able to help those who can’t help themselves. I ask you to help me reach my goal of 10,000 to pay my tuition bill, provide Christmas and catch up on household bills. I’ve often thought about quitting school and getting a second job but I’m in the 4th quarter and the ball is in my hand. Time is of the essence as there are only a few short weeks before the holidays and start of the Spring Semester. Nothing is to small! Please help me to fight on for my children!
