Help Jeff beat Leukemia!
Donation protected
Update 5/29-
The last few days have been pretty rough for Jeff. He was very very sick from one of the chemo pills. He will be alternating between three different chemo treatments during his hospital stay. It was 30 days but the doctor confirmed it will be more on the lines of 5-7 weeks he will be in the hospital. It breaks my heart how much this man has been through in his life with all his heart problems & surgeries to know he now has to battle blood cancer. No form of income is going to be coming in for my Aunt or my Uncle for months. If you can find it in your heart to donate, share or pray, our family truly appreciates it. Any amount helps!!!
We all love you so much Jeff!
Also, I know some people have been rather donating to my Aunt directly via Venmo so if you would rather do that, her Venmo is —
@Tracy-Weaver-32
Or Mine is @Amber-Johnson-258
All donations go directly to my aunt to help with monthly bills, medical bills, ect to help keep them afloat during this rough period.
Update 5/27-
Last night was a rough night for Jeff. He was throwing up blood so they are giving him platelets today. I wish more than anything I could just take this away from him as I’m sure his wife & daughters wish they could too.
My heart breaks for my Aunt, cousins and Uncle
We know he will have good & bad days but this just sucks.
Unfortunately, my Uncle who LITERALLY asked while he was laying in a hospital bed if this means he’s done working, means yes. Lol. We have to find some humor in this crappy situation.
But if you know my Uncle, the man never stops. He works works works and works some more so I know this is tearing him apart.
He will be in the hospital for the next month receiving his chemo & then will take chemo for an additional 7 months to make sure all those cancer cells go to hell.
Any donations received are going directly to my Aunt to pay monthly bills & help them keep afloat while they have no form of income coming in at all.
Everyone that has donated, it truly means more than you could ever know to my Uncle and Aunt & I appreciate you all so much for caring and wanting to help. It warms my heart so much!
We love you guys!
Update 5/24- We received good news today! Out of the two Acute Leukemias that they were thinking it was, it is the more treatable one. He has officially been diagnosed with APL. The doctor did say it is a more high risk case of APL but that it is definitely the less aggressive, more manageable one. He will start Chemo tomorrow and it is going to be a tough road but we are confident he is going to make it through this rough patch! Please know that all money collected will be going directly to Tracy Weaver for monthly bills, travel expenses to get down to Barnes from her house which is an hour away & any medical bills.
Hello, my name is Amber for those who do not know me. On Monday May 22nd 2023, My Uncle Jeff received some rough news that he has Acute Leukemia. They did a bone marrow biopsy today May 23rd to find out exactly which one he has. We are of course praying for the less aggressive one but we are in the waiting period. My Aunt & Uncle have been like second parents to me my whole life. I spent most of my youth with them & I honestly don’t know how they put up with me but thank god they did because they both have given me some of the best memories that I’ll always hold so close to my heart. These two are the most generous people you would ever meet. They have given so much to help out family & friends. I mean if you really knew every single thing they’ve done for each one of their immediate family members, you’d really be blown away. I wouldn’t even be able to list off every single thing they’ve done because we’d be here for days. My uncle has came to save the day too many times to count to help me out, to help his sister in law out, uncles, everyone! He is the kindest man you’d ever meet. He’d drop everything to be there for family & so would my Aunt. Neither one of them have ever asked for anything in their entire life & they’ve really worked hard for everything they have. Obviously with this news, he is not going to be able to work. My Aunt works at a school & is off during the summer and obviously isn’t going to be able to provide. Jeff has unfortunately been through a lot in his life. He has some serious heart problems & has had numerous open heart surgeries, rotator cuff surgery, back surgeries and he actually just went back to work a year ago in May of 2022 after breaking his back in April of 2021 when a scaffold collapsed on the last day of work before he started a new job which of course set them back when he wasn’t able to work recovering from back surgery. They are still trying to get caught up from that. My Aunts Mother ( my grandma ) has Alzheimer’s and is in a nursing home. So now my Aunt has to spend her time going back and forth seeing her mother in a nursing home & husband in the hospital battling cancer. I wish I could just wake up and this all be a nightmare but unfortunately it’s not. It also breaks my heart to see my Aunt and Uncle worrying about money and how they are going to survive without losing their house, their cars, everything while he undergo’s treatment. This isn’t a pity party for us. I know so many people battling either the same things or different things ever single day. I debated even doing this because it’s not like our family to ask for anything but we are out of options and I just want to try to give back even just a little of what these two have given our family. They’ve gone through so much & I wish they could just catch a break. If you could just find it in your heart to donate, pray or even share to spread this, we all would appreciate it so so much. We love you & are rooting for you Jeff!!!!
