Getting back into School

My name is Shaheedah Ragland, I am 21yrs old and I am raising money to get back into school. I attended The Lincoln University for 3 years, majoring in Human Services, before I had to unfortunately leave due to family matters. Attending college and graduating has always been a dream of mine. Along with continuing my work serving the youth in our community in any and every way I can! My previous work with The Philadelphia Freedom Schools has helped me realize my passion for helping those around me. Being involved as a child also helped in the making of who I am today. The Harcum Upward bound program was my very first eye opener in this thing called life. My eyes were open to not only the fact that there are people in this world that care about our youth and will do anything they can to help them succeed, but most importantly that I wanted to be one of those people! “Let us sacrifice our today, so that our children can have a better tomorrow” -A.P.J Abdul Kalam
