Rest In Peace Ellijah

Hello Everyone,
It is with a broken heart that I share.. that my son, Ellijah Cotton, gained his angel wings on December 7th, 2020 at the age of 22. It truly hurts my soul that he left this world feeling so alone. I would have never thought that I would be making arrangements for my son's funeral. However, although he is not here on earth with us physically, I know that he will continue to live through us and remain in our hearts.
Ellijah had the biggest heart and the warmest smile. He always put a smile on the faces of those around him and as many of his friends have stated, "He was truly the life of the party". He was my baby boy and I will miss him dearly.
The beautiful baby in the picture with Elijah is his son, Corvus. Ellijah loved him so much and dedicated his life to him. Corvus was his life. He worked long hours for Corvus, smiled and talked about Corvus (from sun up to sun down lol), and wanted to give the world to beautiful baby Corvus. He was a proud, young, loving father, and a well mannered young man.
Unfortunately, Ellijah felt very overwhelmed by the world that we live in and it took away his happiness. During his last moments on December 7th, 2020, Ellijah forgot how loved and how special he was. He forgot how much he meant to his family and friends. He forgot how much we all needed him here and how much this world needed him. He took his life thinking that he was saving us, when he's the one in fact that needed OUR saving.
This is OUR last chance to show Ellijah how much he means to us. OUR last chance to show him how much his family and friends loves him. I know that he is looking over us and that he will be watching and joining us in spirit as we celebrate his life on Friday, December 18th, 2020.
I am asking EVERYONE (whether you were his friend, a relative, or simply a stranger who is touched by the loss of my son's life) to please donate whatever amount that you can, so that I can give my son Ellijah the proper burial that he deserves.
He has done so much for those around him and now it is time that we show our appreciation and respectfully lay him to rest. This would not only mean the world to me, but it will also mean the world to Ellijah's baby boy Corvus as he continues to grow bigger over the years. This is the last time that he will ever see his father physically and I believe that we all can agree that baby Corvus deserves to see and know how much his father was loved by those around him.
Ellijah.. this is for you baby boy! I love you so much and want you to know that you will continue to live through me and everyone that is connected to you. You will always be more than enough to me and most importantly, you will always be a part of my heart! I am so sorry that you felt this way! This world didn't deserve you, but I know that God and our loved ones will give you the peace and the happiness that you constantly shared with us all.
This is not goodbye, but instead see you later.
I love you Eli,
Mom
