United Way Icy Dip Challenge

The third annual Great Icy Dip for United Way is underway!! Mike Heger, BNI general manager; Jennifer Cady, director Regulatory Affairs; Jodi Piekarski, manager LEC/REC Business Operations; Frank Frederickson, vice president MP Customer Experience & Engineering Services; Mike DeVries, ACE manager Wind Operations; Paul Holt, SWL&P manager Accounting and Operational Support, Dan Gunderson, vice president Transmission & Distribution, Matt Hankey, NEE president and CEO; Josh Kunkel, NEE vice president Business Development and Lindsey Gillis, NEE vice president Operations will immerse themselves in a lake of their choosing to raise money for United Way as part of ALLETE’s Great Give United Way fall campaign. And then they’ll share their cold-water dips in videos for all of us to see. Once a Dipper hits $1,000, it will be time for that Dipper to hit the water. Donations and voting will end on Oct. 21, but the fun continues on Oct. 26 when videos of the icy dips will be posted on the Stream.
