Bring Patches Home

Hello, this is my husband's story.

This fundraiser is to help us get my dog Patches back to me. I got Patches back in 2013 when she was just a six week old puppy. She had been with me through thick and thin. We traveled state after state together hiking/rock climbing in the Rocky Mountains, moving cattle in the Sandhills, exploring Kansas City together, and many many other wild adventures. Sadly when I moved up to Nebraska in 2020 the place I found to stay at didn't allow pets. So I ended up needing to leave her with some family down in Colorado til I could find a spot where we could get back to our adventuring together. After being with my family down there for a short time Patches took off wandering and disappeared for four years. She was brought into a shelter in Las Cruces just two days ago where they found her microchip and we were contacted. We have no idea how she got down there, but we are ecstatic to be able to get this girl home! We are asking for help with funds to get her from where she is at up to us in the Omaha Nebraska area. The money will be for fuel, dog food, treats, etc. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Just crazy excited to hopefully reunite with the best dog I've ever known.
