Ashley's recovery

UPDATE: We just wanted to keep you all as updated as possible.

First, thank you all so very much for your heartfelt prayers and financial supportfor Ashley during her recovery. She is doing better with each passing day.

Ashley continues to have to go get iron infusions and go to the Wound Care clinic every week. She has multiple doctor's appointments for follow-ups as well. The doctors have her off work until September.

If you can continue to help Ashley monetarily, it would be a huge blessing so she doesn't fall behind on her bills. She is currently waiting on her disability.

Hello, my name it's Teresa Barnes. My daughter, Ashley Warriner went into surgery for a hysterectomy which should have been a 1 to 3 hr surgery, due to surgical errors and her ureter being knicked, the surgery lasted 9 hrs. They had to call in a colonoscopy surgeon and urologist surgeon to do more surgery to correct the errors. After that surgery she had 3 laparoscopic areas and a midline cut thru her abdomen, it was very tough surgeries. 18 hours later my daughter told them things didn't feel right; something was wrong; she kept telling them. We requested a CTScan and then 1 hr later, she was rushed back into surgery and re-opened her, only to find a surgical towel had been left inside her abdomen. This caused an infection. The towel was absorbing all the fluids in her abdomen and compressing her bowels. So, emergency surgery was done and now she has a wound vac and drains on her surgical sites. The healing process will be months now, instead of weeks, due to the negligence of this hospital. She is still in hospital recovering and recovery will be long! She is a single Mom and will be off work for an extended period of time. I'm hoping that this Go Fund Me account will help alleviate any added stress as much as possible during her recovery period. I hope that others will help me get her thru the next few months. We would appreciate any help! She is the best person I know! We would also covet any prayers for her.
