Help for Sue Swick
Donation protected
My dear friend Melissa's mother, Sue, lost her home in the recent flooding in Columbia, South Carolina. While insurance covered the structure of her house, most of her possessions are likely lost, including many family heirlooms, things that she planned to hand down to her grandchildren, my Godkids, Susan Faith and David.
Sue and her late husband Kevin often hosted me when I visited Melissa in South Carolina, and they always made me feel so welcome. It seems hard to believe that I won't sit at their kitchen table in their home on Juarez Court, drinking Diet Coke and eating pimento cheese crackers, again. I know that Sue, a lifelong educator and beloved teacher at Heathwood Epsicopal School, wil receive a lot of help, but I still wanted to do something for her. I can't give much, and I bet you can't either. But if we each give a little, we can help put Sue back on her feet, and remind her that she is very much loved. Thank you!
