Haley's Medical Heart Fund

Haley was born with Down Syndrome and has had many illnesses over the course of her life. I know that Haley's illnesses over the years have been very expensive not only with doctor and hospital bills, but with taking care of a child with a disability. 

As most of you know by now that Haley Brenneke daughter of Carla Brenneke Linhardt and Wayne Brenneke has been very ill and is still in the hospital in St Louis receiving care for her lungs that are not completely clear yet. The doctors thought it was pnemonia, but after spending a couple of days in a Jefferson City hospital, she was flown by helicopter to St Louis Children Hospital, since she was getting worse and she had to have so much oxygen pumped into her body, that an ambulance ride to St Louis could not carry enough oxygen to keep Haley breathing, so it had to be by helicopter. Upon arriving in St Louis, Haley was immeadiately put into ICU. That was on the 18th of February. So Haley has been in the hospital for about 17 days now. Carla has spent the entire time with her and I know that is very exhausting, but Haley is and has been Carla's life since she was born and what a great mother she has been.After all of the tests they have ran,  all of the doctors have comfirmed that Haley's previous implanted heart valve has become too small for her body and she is in need of a larger one to carry enough oyxgen to keep her lungs clear so she she can once again breath and receive the oxygen level she needs. But, before they can do surgey, they have to have her lungs completely cleared up. They have been using special machines on Haley to help clear her lungs so she can have open heart surgery within the next 2-3 weeks. That Haley is a tough little cookie overcoming so many obstacles that she has encountered during her entire life.So now with that being said, I think it's time for all of her family, friends, and any others to help out this family during this very trying time. Carla has exhausted all of her sick leave and vacation staying with Haley in St Louis. And, then she'll be off work again with Haley's open heart surgery. I know bills contine, even though your pay check doesn't. So, please open your heart to help Haley with her heart issue and hopefully help Carla's piece of mind of being able to pay bills without receiving a paycheck. She has never asked anyone for any type of financial help and really didn't want this, but it's time to help out my best friend and many others best friend and family member. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated and used to help Haley and her family through another very rough period, besides the one she is going through now. 
God Bless and praying that Haley gets well enough in the next week, or two so she can have the surgery that will help her through the next years of her life. Plus, we will feel it in our hearts that we helped out not only Haley, but her very special mother Carla.
