Shoulder Surgery

I'm missing my trapezius muscle following a surgery on my neck that severed the nerve to my trapezius. Doctors would like to operate and move my other muscles to try and replicate the diamond shape arrangement of the trapezius (Eden-Lange Procedure) but this alone can't work because my shoulder blade doesn't behave and moves around too much so would most likely tear the muscles. So a metal plate would be inserted into my shoulder blade and wires would come from the plate and wrap around my ribs, to attempt to keep the shoulder blade from moving too much.
Aspects of the surgery have been done before but there is no evidence to suggest this particular surgery has been done, we don't know exact costs yet due to this but I am will keep everyone updated! Unfortunately this surgery isn't available on the NHS so I'm trying and raise some money to cover costs!
