About Me: The Writing Journey
Recently, two milestones have occurred: 1. I was accepted to 451.Press publications. 2. I accepted an offer to teach in South Korea. Both play a huge part as to why I am asking for a little more than chump change.
I love teaching, encouraging, writing, and scribing authentic life lessons in prose. I am beginning a manuscript that will document my time teaching overseas in comparison to what I've grown in as the "American Dream". My time in South Korea & my first book will coincidentally go hand in hand.
Most of you have heard my work (browse www.zilla101.com if you have not), and there has never been an instance where I have not fully committed to this craft.
However, finances always seem to be slight obstacles in my quest for world changing, so I'm asking for help with every cell in my body (because I really need it). Regardless of the financial outcome, I'm taking the leap of faith and trusting He who is mighty to provide.
The lump sum would go to the following: A month's worth of bills including my student loans while I'm in transition, shipping my belongings to my new residence in South Korea, an investment in media marketing for the correlating manuscript, public transportation fees, and probably one or ten ice cream sundaes when I have a mental breakdown and get homesick.
The goal is high so anything you can give in the next three weeks would be appreciated. You can send through PayPal: [email redacted] as well. If you can't spare change, send a prayer for me for that will sustain me more than money.
