Zip Tie Dog- Help Zippy Zoo!!

All alone. Abused by a human. Limping down a highway in the middle of nowhere, dumped. Hundreds of cars passing by so fast. Alone. Afraid. Until one car finally turned around! She knew she had to try to help this sweet boy who was clearly hurt. She had some food, talked sweet and lured him into her car. Not knowing what to do at this point, she reached out to a friend who helps cats in her area. They looked at his paw and noticed that someone had zip tied it! His skin was growing around the zip tie. This boy was in so much pain, he was trying to chew his paw off! The rescuer had some meds and quickly administered them and put a plea out on Facebook for a dog rescue to step up, so a plan can come together. One of our volunteers saw the plea and the rest is history! Everyone please welcome "Zippy Zoo" to Three Little Pitties! Your nightmare is now over! We promise you; you will never be hurt again, and we will do all that we need to – to make you feel better and make you feel loved. We don’t know your entire past, but we will make sure your future is one you had only dreamed of.

Zippy saw the vet this morning and needs an amputation. All of his tendons are cut down to the bone and he has a lot of infection. He will be hospitalized on IV antibiotics at least for tonight, will need neutered and and likely heart worm treatment.
