Our sweet love Zipporah has made her journey home. The gentle one. The master of coil bannock. The music holder. Accordion lover. The one full of love.

Our family is devastated to share that she did not pass peacefully, but violently. Violently by the hands of her own son. Her son that so desperately needed mental health care. The lack of mental health care has been a scourge on our communities.

We will never be the same. We have a large and extended family all over the country. We want to come together to lay her to rest. We want to heal each other with togetherness. Flight costs are exorbitant in the North. Companies gouge us with flight costs. We would like to lay her to rest in Resolute Bay, where we were relocated by the Canadian Government. We would like to have a nice gravestone. Any additional funds will be donated to a mental health cause.

We need your help far and wide. We love her with our whole hearts. Please help us get her home, help us come together. Thank you so much!
