Memorial for Fallen Teammates

Hello,
My name is Michael Pettit and I am the assistant baseball coach at Riverside High School. We have decided that it would be a great idea to honor those former teammates that are no longer with us. Tim Bright and Jeff Gully are teammates that we have recently lost but this memorial will make sure they will live forever in the legacy of Riverside Baseball. These two young men, along with Michael Douty, exemplified what it means to be a warrior and it would be a great idea to honor them in a memorial at the baseball field.
Here is what we plan on doing:
Currently, there is a plaque behind the backstop at the baseball field honoring Michael Douty, who passed away in 1995. The area also has soil and bushes on either side of the plaque. We would like to add 2 more plaques to this area for Tim Bright and Jeff Gully. We want to do a great job with it since they all deserve nothing but the best.
We plan on removing the bushes and filling the area in with concrete. We also plan on redoing and moving Michael Douty's plaque about 3 feet closer to the backstop. Then we will construct a total of three brick towers, side-by-side, with a bronze plaque on top for Michael Douty, Tim Bright, and Jeff Gully. All the plaques will be uniform and look GREAT! It will be a tremendous area to honor these young men and former teammates for a long time. It will demonstrate the class and grace all these young men displayed!
However, this project does come with some costs. We need to purchase Bronze plaques, bricks, concrete, and pay for labor. We want to do it right and not cut any corners. We want it to look GREAT and be a place people come back to visit time and time again.
Here is where YOU come in. We need to raise money to get this project done! Our alumni, friends, and family are strong here at Riverside High. These young men were sons, brothers, friends, and teammates we all loved and made us smile on many occasions. Let's honor them the way they deserve! Any donation, of any amount, is gladly accepted. We hope to get this project done by our April 15th when we have a home game vs Spartanburg. We want everyone to come out for this event. We will dedicate the plaques before the Varsity game that will start at 7:30. Everyone is welcome and it would be awesome to get a large crowd to show our love for these young men! We also would like to invite any Baseball Alumni to come back on Saturday afternoon for an alumni game in their honor. We can see if we still have it!
Let's get this done and honor these young men! The sooner we get the donations the sooner we can start on the construction. Please share this with anyone you know and anyone you know would be interested in donating. Any extra money will be used as a donation to the baseball program.
