Joan Connors' Recovery Fund

Jim and Joan Connors of Ballston Spa, NY have raised 2 wonderful children and now have 2 adorable grandchildren. They have worked hard all of their lives. Recently, Joan suffered a catastrophic stroke and heart attack, which left her on life support and in a coma. Joan is a fighter and is doing remarkably well. This is due to her spirit and the rehabilitation she has received so far. Jim was forced to retire early from his job, and has been at Joan's side every single day. Joan had made remarkable progress at the rehab hospital, but last week her health insurance ran out. Jim is now forced to pay more than $150 a day to keep her there. Although Joan is doing very well, the doctors feel that she needs many more weeks of treatment in order to fully regain her life.
