Zoë Meszaro's quest for the gold...

My name is Zoë Meszaro. I have been competing in karate for 4 years now. I have won 1st place in kata in the 2012 and 2013 USA National Karate Federation Championships. In 2014 I became old enough to compete at the Elite level at USA National Team Trials. I won first place and joined the Junior Team, representing my country in the Junior Pan-American Championships in Lima, Peru where I became the youngest female kata competitor on the USA National Team to win Gold at a Jr. PanAms. This year I am once again the 12-13 Elite National Kata Champion and have earned a place on the 2015 USA NKF Junior Team. This year the Junior Pan-America Championships are being hosted in Bolivia, South America. I am very excited to try to win back to back gold medals for the USA.
