Honduras Mission Trip
Donation protected
Hello! First of all, thank you for taking the time to even click on this link. Allow me to explain a little bit about what I am fundraising for.
Currently, I am a student enrolled in Mississippi State University. I recently discovered a mission trip centered organization called Global Brigades. After looking more in depth at what they had to offer, I came across a bit of information highlighting an upcoming medically focused mission trip going to Honduras. I thought this was almost too good to be true, seeing that I desperately wanted to attend a mission trip after finishing my senior year of high school, going to Guatemala. However, God had different plans for me, and instead I spent my summer (and majority of the winter) training to be a 68W Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. Earning said title as of November 30, I have learned a medical skill set in which I feel as though would be useful for a medically centered mission trip. God undoubtedly pushed me in that direction not only to use said skills for the sake of assisting the men and women fighting for our country, but to also use them to assist, in whatever way I can, those around the world. That being said, I greatly look forward to being able to take part in the Great Commission and go out with my skill set rendering aid to those I can, all while being given the opportunity to go out and spread God’s word in a meaningful way.
I hope to achieve this goal by May 12th, the day I would be leaving for the mission trip. Any financial support will take away strain from worrying about finances (a feeling I'm sure almost every college student is familiar with) and will allow me to better focus on the task at hand. Ultimately, I know God will help me take care of it either way. Every little bit goes a long way, and I'm sure you'll never truly know just how much it means to me that you'd be willing to donate. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to look at this, and I promise that anything given to this cause will be put to good use!
