My Story:
Back in 2010 August 22nd, in Tehachapi California, I was at their yearly city classic car show meeting all different nationalities of peoples, and looking at all the vehicles on display, after looking at over 300 or so vehicles and meeting people, I didn't sense a God presence among all the people I met. So I said to the Lord I don’t sense your presence here, at that time the Lord impressed it upon my heart to start working on a ministry that would bring the Gospel message and present to this (nation of people), So I asked the Lord what should I call this ministry, and the name (For His Glory Custom Van Club Ministry) came to me. Now 9 years later I have arrived at the door of God's calling on my life. Now I could use your help to complete what the Lord has started with me. (Think of it as being a part of something great unto God's Glory).
Will you join me in sharing the Gospel message of Christ's love to an industry that seems to be untouched, Doesn't the Holy Scriptures teach us that we are (to go into all the world and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teaching these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. Matt. 28:19-20 NLT). Well, the classic car shows that is being held around the state of California is also one of the nations/industries. This van club ministry will be addressing this large people group for the glory of God so that salvation may come to some of them. This campaign is for raising money to get the first of three (3) custom vans on the road and a place to houses them as soon as possible.

“How This Ministry Came Into Being”
My wife and I have been Christians for over 30-years together and married for 31-years. In 2009 My wife and I moved up to a place called California City, CA, and on August 22nd of 2010, my wife and I were getting ready to come down to Long Beach for church, but she was having some heavy stomach pains. So, I have to take her to the hospital to be checked out, the nearest hospital was 30-miles away in a city called Tehachapi.
Once my wife was amended I was waiting for the doctors to see what was going on with her, I was sitting in the lobby area reading a small NT bible. By the way, did I mention this was on my birthday and I was upset that we were missing church, but to my surprise the hospital there has church service every Sunday morning for the patient and what a great service it was, that took care of my anger problem. Afterward, I went back to the lobby area and started reading again and all of a sudden the building started shaking like an earthquake was happening, but it wasn’t an earthquake.
I got up and when outside and seen this classic (fire red 1960ist steam-ray dragster) hopping down the street on its way to the show along with other classic cars and trucks following behind. I came back inside and asked the young lady at the reception desk what was happening. She said the city was having its annual classic car show that day. Knowing how I love the classics, antiques, and vintage automobiles since I was a kid, I had to see what was up so, I went back where my wife was and asked her if it was ok for me to check out the cars while the doctors were still dealing with her.
She gave the ok so off I went to the car show, while I was there I must have looked at upwards to 300+ cars, trucks, motorcycles, bikes, rat-rods, etc…. of all makes and model and years, also met lots of people, nice people, Christian and none-Christian people, but nothing that actually offered an opportunity for anyone to come to know of the Lord Jesus Christ there.
So I said to the Lord there is nothing here that speck to your existence, so a small voice say to me (why want you start it then), then the Scripture (Colossians 3:17,23-24 came to mind, “and whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”. Also, 23“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for man, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ”).
Then I ask the Lord what should I name this ministry, and it came to me (For His Glory Custom Van Club Ministry), so, I have been working on getting this ministry up and running for the Lord ever since, now it is a legal (501-C3 Non Profit Ministry with full tax exemption with the state of California.)
So, this ministry is based on God's calling to me and His Holy Word, (Colossians 3:17,23,24).

FHGVCM VISION/PURPOSE STATEMENT:
First and for most this is not my vision but (God’s vision) he gave me to full fill back on Aug 22nd, 2010.
Vision:
The vision of this ministry is to hopefully bring the presence of the Gospel massage to a largely untapped venue in the (Classic Automotive Annual, monthly or weekly presenting of classic, antique or vintage automobile’s industry) to the general public that souls maybe win over to Christ and His church, it is also to be made available to schools, churches, and personal parties and events to help other in seeing a unique way of sharing the gospel massage.
Purpose Statement:
The purpose for this ministry is to help people of all nationalities to see scenes from the bible painted or body rapped on the outside of the vans and get the opportunity to meet Jesus personally though means of (Virtual Reality Broadcasting) that will be set up inside of each van as it relates to the scenes on the outside of the vans. Then they can see and hopefully feel what it was like to live doing the same time period He (Jesus) did, and choose to trust Him for their salvation and allow Him to become Lord and Savior of their lives or not.
