Mike Zurawski Memorial Fund
Donation protected
My brother, Mike Zurawski, was recently diagnosed with a high-grade neuroepithelial tumor. After originally diagnosed with a standard risk medulloblastoma back in 2005, successful chemotherapy treatment shortly thereafter allowed for him to be in remission for over 15 years. He is now faced with very few options to treat this high-grade glioma at the age of 35. Radiation isn’t a choice as it may have caused this recurred medulloblastoma, and we’re told that chemotherapy is likely to provide little benefit.
Additional professional medical opinions are being considered to offer a full scope of options for moving forward. Some options include insurance hurdles with medical treatment costs expected up to $20,000 per month. As we narrow down the treatment in Mike's best interest, a journey of clinic visits and stays is anticipated. Though we've already begun this journey, we can't do this alone. Care is needed at the clinic visits and at home to administer Mike’s medical treatment, so this fundraiser is to help cover family costs at home and abroad while away from work during this time, as well as the expected medical costs involved.
We humbly ask that you please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser to help Mike fight this disease. With your help, we have a chance to see Mike with an option not thought possible. This fundraiser is to ease the burden of the family to help Mike fight cancer.
God bless you, friends and family! Know that we thank each and every one of you for your help and support during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Matt Zurawski
