Support For Lily
Donation protected
Lily was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 4 months old. It has been a long and difficult 3 years of treatment and surgery for the Lily and her family. Due to complications during her brain surgeries, Lily has had a stroke and now suffers from seizures. Some of the top doctors in Canada from SickKids and CHEO have recommended that Lily have a hemispherectomy which means that they will disconnect and disable the left hemisphere of her brain. This is scary, but they think the best chance for Lily to live a more normal life.
They will be meeting virtually with the Doctors in January to discuss next steps. Julie, Jeff and Lily will have to travel to Toronto for the surgery and then will need to spend 3 months there for rehab.
This is a very stressful time for the family and we are hoping to take some of the financial stress away. Spending 3 months away from home will be expensive and we are hoping to help take some of the burden off of their shoulders.
Please consider making a donation to help cover living and travel costs that they will have to pay while living in Toronto in the upcoming year.
We are praying for a miracle.
