Hi my name is Juanita, and I am seeking your support to help me purchase a custom-made wheelchair. For those who may not know, I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), which requires me to use a wheelchair when walking for extended periods. OI is a bone disease often referred to as brittle bone disease. People with OI have fragile bones that break easily, often for no apparent reason and cause people to have limited mobility.

I can walk, but my body gets worked up fast due to limited mobility. I often have to stay home to avoid falling or tripping, which has been affecting my mental health tremendously. It took a lot for me to make this GoFundMe page as I am not one to ask for financial help, but it would mean the world if you could help me reach my goal. Having a wheelchair made to my specific needs would give me more independence, help my mental health, and, most importantly, be able to live a more normal life.
