K9 Service Dog and kennel for Drew
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Drew and I am a disabled combat veteran with a wife and 3 boys, 7,9 &11. We live in Tallahassee Florida. I started my federal service in 1989 in the US Army’s 101st as an airborne infantryman. Spending most of my time in the Middle East. After leaving the military I began work as a wildland firefighter for the federal government. I have spent most of my life being deployed to remote areas and managing high stress environments. I suffer from complex PTSD and Traumatic brain injury that the VA helps me manage.
Through this program with Forgotten Coast K9 and Top Tier K9, they will provide me with the support and training to develop a service K9 that can help mitigate my disabilities. After 32 years of service I’m looking for any support.
Donations will go directly into the training for myself to become a competent service dog trainer. When this trading is complete, I will receive a service dog pup to train with the direction of Forgotten Coast K9 and Tier one K9 to develop skills to mitigate my needs. The K9 / service dog will identify and mitigate triggers I have in order for me to live a more productive life.
These organizations are matching this contribution three fold and have been for a long time. When I have accomplished my needs, I will be required to take on another K9 to develop into a service dog to support another warrior.
Thank You
From myself and my family
