Hi, I’m Christy. You may know me, if you don’t, I’m Lucas’ stepmom and a friend of Michelle’s. I’m sad to say that yesterday, after spending one week in the hospital, Michelle was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It’s an aggressive type of cancer that requires immediate treatment. This will not only cause an emotional hardship, but also a financial burden, as Michelle has been admitted to Shands in Gainesville for her chemo. She’s going to be there for at least 4wks and then will have ongoing treatment over the next several years. Michelle has a lot of help and support but she will need as much as possible to get through this awful chapter. If you are able to donate to her, and Lucas, it would be greatly appreciated.
