Medical Expenses for Dave

Extreme unplanned medical expenses were incurred as a result of three different hospitalizations in four months, including two different occasions of ICU for two weeks each.  In the second ICU visit for interstitial pulmonary disease and congestive heart failure (CHF), he was placed on a ventilator twice for three days each. After all of this he lost 50 lbs. and all functionality of his legs and arms. Home health was beginning to assist with bringing the walking back (arms were 90% back), but the CHF and pulmonary disease sapped his energy and ability to breathe enough.
So upon us both taking a nap Monday morning after being exhausted, I woke up, but he didn’t.  Thankfully it was that fast and painless. He had given enough and the Lord saw fit to bring him home. Thank God!!
