The Relief Nest

The island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines after 42 years is being severely impacted by the explosive eruption of the La Soufriere volcano. Thousands of persons have been forced to leave their belongings behind and seek refuge at evacuation shelters. These shelters lack the basic items necessary for person’s survival during this dire time. As such, this fund was created to assist persons displaced by this natural disaster by providing them with vital supplies. The immediate financial prerequisite is geared towards the purchasing and provision of key items such as food, water, non-perishables, toiletries, hygiene products, sleeping items (pillows, cots, mats, mattresses), first aid kits, pharmaceuticals and baby items.
