Services for Zoe Jane

On Wednesday, August 11th, Zoe Jane Mattix passed away. Zoe was 16 years old and the only child of her parents, Megan and Anthony. Zoe was a sweet, bright girl; a quiet soul who also loved to laugh and had a quirky sense of humor. She had a tender heart and cared so deeply for the feelings of others, both people and animals alike. Zoe loved spending time in nature, going on many hikes with her mom and usually with a ferret or two and a dog in tow. She had a beautiful singing voice and was a talented artist who rarely went without a sketchbook in hand. Zoe was so loved by her family, friends, and many others. The family is so appreciative of the outpouring of love and support. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. It is difficult to think of what people can do in a time such as this, but one thing that may help is donations to be used to help lay Zoe to rest and allow her parents time off together while they grieve.

A public celebration of life open house will be held on Friday, August 20th, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Kane Funeral Home. Please note, the passing of Zoe was sudden and unexpected and the family appreciates their privacy at this time.
