Zoe’s clients at Judevine Center for Autism’s Day Program

Hi everyone! My name is Zoe Green and I’m the adult services manager at Judevine Center for Autism’s Jefferson County Day Program. At the day program we assist and teach our clients with social skills, hygiene skills, independent living skills, physical exercise, communication skills, etc. We want our clients to live their most independent lives as possible so we provide oversight and assistance if needed. We are limited on our funding for activities so we tend to do some of the same activities and outings over and over. Our clients deserve the absolute world and we need your help to make that happen! April is Autism awareness month and it also happens to be my birthday month. I can’t think of a better birthday present than seeing the smiles on my clients faces with some new items to interact with! We are hoping to use this money to buy: wood and other supplies to make raised garden beds to teach the clients how to grow their own vegetables and flowers, instruments such as a guitar and a keyboard piano, more outdoor sports items, possibly to make an adult accessible mini playground (slide, swings, etc), sensory seeking items, and to take them on so many different outings that we wouldn’t usually get to take them on because it costs lots of money! We have 16 clients at the day program and I’ll say it again- they are SO deserving of this!!! Thank you for taking your time to read this if you’ve made it this far! Thank you for sharing, donating, or whatever you’re doing to boost this and support my precious clients!! I love you all ❤️
