Zoe's UC Irvine New York Program Fundraiser

Hi friends and family!

This spring, I have been given the opportunity to take part in the University of California Irvine’s New York Satellite Program, after auditioning and being accepted into the program this fall. This program allows a group of theatre students from UCI to live in NYC for a month. While there, we will get to take a full load of dance and musical theatre-related classes, workshops, and masterclasses with industry professionals as a part of our continued theatre education. Most importantly, we get to be immersed in NY’s Broadway theatre world and practice our art in this country’s epicenter of theatre. This program will take place from mid-March to mid-April in 2024. Preparation for this educational program begins in January, with classes that will prepare us for the rigorous class load we'll take in NY.

I have been doing musical theatre since 2009, and have been hooked ever since on the excitement and joy of performing. Continuing my musical theatre education in New York, is a dream come true.

I am extremely honored and thrilled to be a part of this program and the students who have participated and thrived from this experience before. In order to support this opportunity, I need to pay for the program tuition, rent in NY, and travel expenses in addition to regular college tuition and rent in Irvine. Luckily, the financial aid I receive will go towards this expense, but it will not cover everything with the costs I will still be paying back in Irvine. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to continue my musical theatre training at such a high level, and I’m so excited to make this work, but I would love your support in making this happen!
