Zombie Apocalypse Research Project 2025

I am raising money for student prizes in my 7th RLA classroom. I conclude the year with a Zombie Apocalypse Research Project, which drops students in 15 locations around the world where they learn about the indigenous plants and animals of the region as well as research valuable survival skills. Students choose their own groups and complete research tasks. The group that does the best research and prepares the most thorough survival manual wins - one winning group per class. I have 2 goals: 1) I'd like to raise enough to give each winner a $10 gift card. 2) Part of the project involves researching the nutritional value of insects. I want to purchase freeze dried insects to give kids the opportunity to eat one! This activity was a huge hit last year, but don't worry- insect eating isn't tied to any points or grade, and is strictly on a volunteer basis. Historically, students love this project and it keeps them engaged to the end of the year! I really appreciate any help you can give!
