Help Us Finish Zorbit's Orbits!
It's been a good, long 5 years since we began this project. We're almost done! But we need a little help...
What is Zorbit's Orbits?
Zorbit's Orbits is a 2D platforming game, but with a twist: All our levels are round, bending physics and requiring the player to use the shape of each world to their advantage. It will be released for the PC and Mac, with other platforms possible in the future.
Who are we?
Greg and Jeremie have been working on this project together for 5 years, and friends for much longer. This has been a project of passion for us, and so we've been doing all of it in our free time.
Why are we raising money?
Zorbit's Orbits needs another 2-3 months of dedicated work time. If we can raise enough money, then we can focus on finishing the game over the summer (instead of, say, working as camp counselors or birthday clowns), and hire an additional artist to help finish the large amount of artwork that remains to be done.
If we can get this time to focus on the project, Zorbit could be finished this summer. Otherwise, it might take us another year... or more...
How soon do we need the funds?
The sooner we can get funding, the more time we can spend on the project this summer!
What's in it for you?
If you know Greg or Jeremie personally, you can feel good about helping us finish our project of passion. It has been an incredible experience, both of us starting from essentially zero knowledge of video game creation, to get to where we are today. Help us complete our journey!
If you donate...
1) 1$+ - your name in the credits
2) 5$+ - a copy of the game when it's finished and your name in the credits
3) 10$+ - a full download of the soundtrack when it's finished and all rewards listed above
4) 20$+ - a Zorbit poster, signed by Jeremie and Greg, and all rewards listed above
5) 50$+ - an original piece of Zorbit artwork, signed by Jeremie and Greg, and all rewards listed above
6) 100$+ - a one of a kind, never available before or since, Zorbit t-shirt, and all rewards listed above.
