Zoroastrian Temple Fundraiser
Tax deductible
Zoroastrianism is the oldest revealed monotheistic religion, which focuses on living one's life with “Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds.” Our religion values Wisdom and the Good Mind and respects nature and is always thankful for its bountiful beauty. The worldwide community is small but mighty, and we are all dedicated to preserving our traditions and leading a life on the path of good choices. My local religious community spans three states that makes up ZAKOI (The Zoroastrian Association of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana). We are a fun, creative, joyful, and passionate group of Zoroastrians. For over a decade, it has been our dream to have our own place of worship, as the nearest temple to us is in Chicago, IL. My parents, a Zoroastrian religion class teacher and a Zoroastrian priest, are champions of this mission and have helped lead our community to already raise $100,000 toward this goal. They help to creatively plan and lead fundraisers every year and are diligent and optimistic in creating this temple for future Zoroastrians. We want to buy a small church that we can use as our Zoroastrian Temple, but that can cost anywhere between $200,000 - $300,000. We have raised a third of our goal and need at least $200,000 more to secure our own perpetual temple for our community. We are asking for donations to help us reach this goal in the next 5 years. Every dollar counts, and we truly appreciate your support. Having our own place of worship/temple means a lot to me and my generation, and we hope to achieve this for our religion in this region soon. Thank you for your support!
