When the world is unequal, access to nutritious food is not the same, and those marginalized within a community – such as women, displaced people, refugees, and those with disabilities – are more likely to face barriers to essential services, jobs, income, and resources. This inequality causes hunger, especially chronic hunger, which in turn deepens inequity.

Access to food is a human right. Humanitarian crises due to conflict, climate change, and the ever growing extreme economic inequalities between the global majority and the richest 1% have fueled the dire need for a solution to an increasing threat to humanity.

Action Against Hunger, a well-known nonprofit at the forefront of humanitarian work, is dedicated to wiping out hunger and providing healthcare to those in need. Providing life-saving assistance to vulnerable communities spanning more than 45 countries. By delivering clean water, nutritious sustenance, and crucial healthcare services to those most in need of them. They have fed 28M people last year and use 92% of all donations to directly impact those who are facing hunger around the world due to conflict, economic inequality, famine, and natural disasters.
