Karen’s healing journey

My name is Karen I am 29 years old wife and mother of three beautiful girls, a 13, 10 and 7 year old. My journey started almost two years ago, February 2016. I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. I did the whole conventional treatments, 8 rounds of chemo, double mastectomy and 28 rounds of radiation. Just when I thought I had won the fight 5 months after radiation this cancer came back now with metastasis, it had spread to the lymph nodes. I decided to go to chipsa hospital, all though it did not get rid of the cancer I do feel in my heart it slowed it down drastically. I was doing great and thriving all summer 2017 when I came back. On October I started feeling very sick I was not able to eat or drink, I had fever and chills, I was dehydrated anemic extreme weakness. November I found out I was pregnant with twins. My husband and I were so happy but of course being pregnant and with cancer brought a lot of concern not only for my life but for the babies. I really wanted to have the babies I tried and tried but It was just not physically possible. I lost so much weight since I was not able to even drink water, the babies were eating me alive. So I was faced with the toughest decision ever. During the pregnancy my cancer advanced I am not sure where I have it now. I feel great not my energy is back I can eat. I have horrible head aches that do worry me. Well have MRI done soon to see what’s going on. Now I need to fight for my girls and my family I decided to hire a very well known and successful cancer coach. I believe in my heart that with his program I can get back in track and kick cancers butt. He will have me on a $1,800 calorie all raw, veggie and fruit diet with some supplements. Also his coaching is $1,200 a month for a 12 week program. I know chemo seems to be the easier option since it’s covered by insurance but I tried it once and did nothing for me. I truly believe the body has the ability to heal it’s self given the proper nutrition and by fixing the gut. I ask everyone for your help to continue fighting this disease. I’ve had so much support since day one God has showed me I am not alone. So many beautiful people have been by my side. I am overwhelmed by all the love and support. Please continue to pray for me as this journey has not been easy but I know will be worth it at the end. I will give God the glory he deserves.
