Mandy's Recovery Fund

Hi Everyone,

For those of you that don't know me my name is Julie and I am Amanda’s cousin.

As you may or may not know, Mandy has been suffering with migraines for a while now but this past week they got to be pretty bad to the point she couldn't get out of bed or hardly walk.  On Saturday afternoon, Allan took her to the hospital and demanded that they finally do something for her... (thank god he did!)

After having a CAT scan, it was determined that Mandy had a 5 cm tumour at the back of her brain. She was rushed to St. Mikes and had a 5 hour brain surgery Sunday morning.

The doctors are hopeful that they were able to get all of the tumour, and have sent it away to get tested.

We are hopeful that Mandy is going to make a full recovery. With this, obviously she is going to be off work for a while, and she will probably need some care for the first bit (aka Mommy or Allan).

Those of you that know Mandy, you know that she is the most loving and caring person in this world and would do anything for anyone. So now it is our turn to do everything possible we can to help her!

I am hoping we can raise some money for Mandy and Allan to get through the next couple of weeks/months without having to worry about paying the bills etc.
