Help Nina

Update-Thank you again for your continued support. We have some unfortunate news to share with you today. Nina is currently in a coma. We do not know how long this will last, but we need your prayers now more than ever. Nina is battling physical injuries from fractures to road rash all over her body, and the doctors anticipate that they will continue to find more throughout her stay in the hospital. But they are really concerned about her brain injuries. There is still a lot of reason for hope because she is so young, but she will be needing not only physical therapy but also brain therapy.
On Thursday evening, 14-year-old Nina was struck by a drunk driver while out running on Bear Creek Parkway near Bear Creek Park in Keller. As a dedicated student athlete, Nina was pursuing her passion for running and training to join the Keller High School cross-country team when this devastating accident occurred. Now, facing a brain injury and multiple fractures (including both femurs, her knee, and multiple parts of her pelvis), her road to recovery will be long (doctors estimate at least a year). Nina and her family need the community’s support more than ever.
We're rallying together to provide financial assistance for Nina's medical bills, rehabilitation, and ongoing care. Additionally, we aim to support her family during this challenging time, alleviating the financial burden they face in caring for Nina and ensuring she receives the best possible treatment. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Nina heal and hopefully enable her to return to running one day.
She remains in the hospital in critical condition and will undergo her first surgery Friday. The drunk driver who hit her was arrested. Let's come together as a community to show our love and support for Nina during this challenging time.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and networks. Thank you for your generosity and support!
