Help us lay our beautiful sister to rest

My name is Felicia, and my family and I are trying to raise funds for our sister Scarlett Medel. She was involved in a car accident on Dec. 18, 2024, in Hesperia, CA, on the corner of Cottonwood and El Centro Street. She was on her way to pick up her son, niece, and nephew from school when she was t-boned by another vehicle and unfortunately left us far too soon.

My sister was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her son, 13 years old, was her whole world and her best friend. She was also an amazing Tia/second mother to her nieces and nephews, the best sister to her siblings, and a loving daughter to our parents. She was a giver. She always put everyone before herself. She was the life of the party, such a funny goofball, always so happy, and loved to dance even if she was the only one dancing. She was very independent and hardworking. She would always be there for everyone and try to put a smile on their face when they were going through hard times. My sister was everything to us. We lost our best friend, and nothing will ever be able to fill the void in our hearts.

So with a heavy heart, we ask that if you can find it in your hearts to help us lay our sister to rest. All proceeds will go to her funeral costs and her son. Anything will help, even if it’s something as simple as a prayer. We thank you in advance for everything.
