The Conaway Family

For those asking for an update, my husband Mark Conaway was in that terrible car accident early yesterday morning. A lady ran the red light driving down the 125 and plowed into him going 60-65 mph. She hit him so hard, she pushed his truck 45 feet across the intersection and into the curb. His truck is totaled & firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get him out.

He is in the hospital suffering with a broken neck. Disk 2 is crushed & discs 3 & 4 are fractured. He is scheduled for surgery on Monday, but after the surgery, he we will permanently lose 80% of his left & right range of motion in his neck. In the meantime, he had 4 screws drilled into his skull to support the halo contraption he’s forced to wear for who knows how long. He will be in the hospital for over a week and then out of work for 4-6 weeks. Good news...he’s alive!
